The French center has signed with the club for one season. <\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The 22-year-old Izan Le Meut stands 2.14 m tall and will strengthen Fribourg\u2019s inside game. His size, presence around the basket and ability to make an impact in the paint will be valuable assets for Olympic\u2019s roster. <\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">A U19 World Cup runner-up with France in 2023, Izan Le Meut already has solid international experience at youth level. Last season, he played in Switzerland for <strong>Union Neuch\u00e2tel<\/strong>, where he confirmed his impact with averages of <strong>13 points and 12 rebounds per game<\/strong>. <\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">His arrival reflects Fribourg Olympic Basket\u2019s ambition to build a competitive and determined roster capable of meeting the demands of the upcoming season, which will begin in mid-September with the Basketball Champions League qualifiers.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Izan Le Meut therefore becomes the third foreign player under contract for next season, alongside <strong>Jonathan Williams and Deyton Albury<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The club warmly welcomes Izan Le Meut and looks forward to seeing him soon wear the Fribourg colours at Saint-L\u00e9onard.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fribourg Olympic Basket is pleased to announce the arrival of Izan Le Meut for the 2026-2027 season.
