Following the recent injuries to American player Judah Brown (foot) and Swiss player Emmanuel Kupa (foot), Fribourg Olympic Basket has moved quickly to temporarily strengthen its roster.

The Fribourg club has turned to a player who knows the organization extremely well: Boris Mbala. The 30-year-old Swiss player has signed a one-month contract, effective from Wednesday, September 9.

Mbala has already started training under head coach Thibaut Petit and will be part of the Fribourg delegation travelling on Monday, September 14, to Samokov, Bulgaria, where Fribourg Olympic will compete in the Basketball Champions League qualifiers.

After leaving Olympic in 2023, Boris Mbala is now back at Saint-Léonard and returns to an environment he knows very well.
